Healthy Living in 2023

Do you strive to be better? Do your strive to do better? If so, this article is for you. Healthy living doesn’t mean just eating right. You need to have a healthy mind and soul to go with that healthy body. I am going to share a few ways this can be accomplished. The first thing we will be talking about is having a healthy mind. To have a healthy mind, one needs to be active and gain exercise. Exercising not only makes you feel incredible, but it also improves your mental health. Alcohol intake can also keep you from having a healthy mind. Alcohol actually causes depression if your intake is more than you can handle. It also leaves you feeling like crud the next day. Why not wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day?

I know that’s how I want to start my day. I have woken up to many hangovers in my life but not today and not this year. This is the year of Healthy Living. Next, I want you to stay connected to the ones you care about. If you are alone to often, you can go into a dark place and sometimes it is hard to come back from that. Staying connected, keeps you in the light. The light is where you will succeed in every day life. Another thing important to keeping your mind healthy is to keep learning. Now I know sometimes learning can be a burden because we just do not have enough time in the day but keeping your mind busy with proactive things can be the best thing for it. Learning can be fun, you just have to find the right angle. Lastly, to keep your mind healthy is to have a positive attitude. Have you ever woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was just in a negative mood all day? Or someone cut you off in traffic and it just ruined your whole day? When things like this happen, it is best to just take a deep breath and let those negative vibes just evaporate and allow the positive vibes to flow in.

In addition to, having a healthy soul goes hand in hand with have a healthy mind. To achieve a healthy soul, spend some time with nature. See the beauty of all things created and just erase everything bad and focus on the sounds you hear. Birds chirping, deer galloping and trees rustling. When it comes to nature, I love to hear the locusts sing on a warm summer night. It makes me feel free and alive. Now, practice gratitude. Look for things in life that you are grateful for. I know one thing to be grateful for is being able to live day to day. There are a ton of people who do not get to live their life because it was taken early on. Always remember to be compassionate to yourself and others.

Lastly, a healthy body. There are so many ways that you can achieve a healthy body. No, it is not going to the gym everyday or spending all of your money on protein power. Instead, just get a normal amount of exercise and practice eating healthy. I’m not saying eat a salad for every meal, we are not rabbits. Go online and look up healthy recipes. Since I have done this, my children and I have lost weight and we feel so amazing. Multivitamins are also a great way to a healthy body. They offer so many nutrients and vitamins that are crucial to a long happy life. Reduce screen time as well. The lights that come off of our devices can actually cause migraines and they do not feel good. To wrap up Healthy Living in 2023, make sure you get enough sleep. Not sleeping well will cause your brain to not function properly and cause your body to tire more quickly. Let’s enjoy 2023 and achieve a healthy mind, body and soul.
