The first thing is about those who are around you. Unlike what most people think, entrepreneurs don’t have a big circle. They have a very limited number of close friends. They don’t spend too much time with lots of people. Why?
Jim Rohn tells you why:
You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.
If most people who are around you are losers, then you are either a loser now, or you will definitely become a loser. Therefore, just look around and see who is in your circle. If they are negative, losers, energy vampires, either kick them out of your life, or if you cannot do it (probably because they are close relatives), leave them and go far away, unless you want to live as a loser for the rest of your life.
It is a bitter fact, but you wouldn’t believe it if I told you that negative and blaming parents are the main reason for children’s weaknesses and failures when they grow up. If your mind is damaged by such parents and family, just leave them as soon as you can, and then fix yourself. You will see that your life will change.
Yes, making these kinds of changes are so hard. But, it is your choice. Either you do it to change your life, or you will live like that forever. Keep in mind that those who hurt you are your enemies, even if they are covered as parents.
