    Hello traders,

    USDJPY

    Hi everyone,
I am not sure of how to objectively give a score to a setup, you tell me if this one has its place here or not.

USDJPY has bearish engulfing on the daily with quite long wick on top of yesterday’s candlestick, slightly piercing upper BB.
On the current weekly CS we have so far a strong rejection from the BMB also with a long upper wick.

    GBPAUD possible continuation setup.

Daily price action was unable to break higher weekly S/R line after Thursday’s doji.
I am expecting breach of short-term support line below BMB to sell:

    Hi guys,
I am stoked that there is now a topic only for BB CS system 🙂 .
I have been finding trading around the Bollinger Middle Band quite reliable. In fact i seem to be having more success than using the upper bands. Anyone else finding the same thing?
For me the AUDCAD on the 21st is a perfect example of what i would consider a strong setup.
    Cheers

    EURAUD D1
Bearish ENGULFING seems to be forming around middle band .
Negative seems to be the lower band not sloping down and upper band seems to be coming down…making me wonder if the pair may be heading for a range

What do you think fellow traders.

    Lucky hi,

we must wait to candlestick be closed. For now I am worried about lower shadow bearish candle, and lower shadow of yesterday candlestick. And the reason for shadow is monthly resistance line .

I do not have that currency pair on my chart, but according to yours chart I would say that bearish candle is to small. and we can not say that bears are take the control. Also lower shadow is negative point

    Hi Rui,

I trade setup around middle band, and I have big success rate.
I published that setup in previous post

    100 SCORE SETUP

CADCHF is formed 100 score setup on daily chart.
I don’t see any negative point.
Strong lower bolinger breakout from bouth candlestick, above support level.
Strong bullish candlestick which is engulf hole bearish body candle.
The only obstacle can be middle band which is so close.
The candlestick is not closed yet, so we of course should wait to be closed.

    Hi all,

I find this an interesting setup (CADCHF).
If I look at the structure I do not see any exhaustion yet, just today’s bar.
Next to it the weekly is struggling to get above he BMB and the monthly has not been able to cross the BMB also for three months in a row.

It looks like price has broken the trendline to the downside and is testing it right now.
    https://www.mql5.com/en/charts/5519714/cadchfi-d1-tw-corp

Looking at EURCAD for me it would be an easier trade with less risk.

    Hi

I agree with you Ben, CADCHF looks very nice 98-100score setup.
I see only one negative, on monthly chart we are under BMB, but candle
is still forming and we can end above BMB in the end of july.

    I take this trade 🙂

Robbert on EURCAD bearish candle look very small to me. I dont take it.

    Hi Tom,

I saw middle band on monhly, but it seems daily chart setup look so strong,
so that I neglected that negative point.
When we see strong setup on daily, we don’t care about other time frames.
I agree with about EURCAD, it is to weak setup, for me there is no setup at all.
The only obstacle is middle band on daily.

    Hello everyone,

CADCHF looks nice on the chart but at some point we cannot ignore fundamentals, and CAD means oil so I am not at ease being long CAD at the moment.

Yes, Cad is highly dependent on oil. CAD is very correlated with oil.

Always take a look at two correlated pairs before taking a trade! This will support and will reinforce your trade setups.

We can mix many factors with
    our strategy CS+BB like fundamentals,
news etc. but like Chris said
Forex is business for lazy people,
and our work is to find strong setup,
set SL and TP and forget.

    People like to complicate things.
But why? We never now what happend.
But we have good strategy with good
R:R, so we must be winners in the end.

    People like to complicate things.
    But why? .

Because they don’t beleive in simple things.
You’re all probably right about all.
But I open position based on setup. And these setup is too strong.
Will it work ? I don’t know.I set up my position, and rest I will leave the market. If my SL being hit, it is ok with me, because it is the part of the game.
Those bulls which are formed such a strong setup will not surrender so easily .

Hi guys I am still new here. Concerning CADCHF currency, what is your suggestion when I look at one monthly chart ,the candles have been resting for the past two months on BMB and refusing to break it, is this not a too much resistive area to break it.

    Thank u

I agree with you Tom and Ben, we have to keep it simple.
But definitely as far as I am concerned not simplistic. Otherwise I prefer to put in place a good EA, the best “set-and-forget” strategy 🙂

I wish you good luck to all, a happy trading journey with a lot of píps on souvenir.

Frankly, I think that no computer can not replace human assessment of setups.
It is easy to fall into the trap of over-analyzing.

Just to clarify something, I do not open correlated pairs. I don”t want to increase my risk. Only if SL from my first opened position I moved previous to breakeven.

    My comment was irony.

Going long usd/cad and long cad/chf means going short CAD with the first position and long CAD with the second position. But this was discussed before with the comment “do not think about it and just take the setup”. So I don’t agree with it – buying and selling a currency at the same time is not useful in my opinion.

There is a reason Chris reommends a maximum of two trades at the same time, which is correlation. All the assets mostly have the same currencies, similar currencies, the USD, Oil or the stock market in it. Just because it is not exaplained here (to keep it simple) doesn’t mean there is no reason for the two-trade recommendation. Further trades can be taken once the initial trades are well in profit which is building a pyramid.
