Are US-Africa Relations Looking Good?

South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, as chairperson of the African Union, had a talk on Tuesday, 17/11/2020, with US president-elect Joe Biben during which the leaders discussed ways to strengthen US-Africa relations, how to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and the recovery of the global economy as well as the issue of climate change.
Ramaphosa also wished Biden and Kamala Harris well for their term in office.
Are US-Africa relations promising given the threat of China’s policies?

No, not at all especially during Trump’s reign. He has completely neglected any initiative in as far as relationship with Africa is concerned. The president doesn’t care about Africa and he stressed it from the beginning of his reign.

No. Because Trump does not fansy African leaders. But, his argument was that they should develop their countries and stop coming to US for everything especially medical issues.

Looking good or not Africa will never be separated from America or others western countries. The globalization makes things impossible ,and we depens on each other to live in Earth.

US-African relationship have been detoriated since Trump administration. All the financial support American government extend Africans have been totally neglected by the government of Trump. This is why many African leaders don’t want Trump to win his 2nd tenure in the white house. So because of the grants neglect, African leaders do not like Trump at all.

Even though the relationship between us and Africa has been deterioted, it will still continue forever. The Trump adnimstation will leave and another will come with its own interests. It will defends American’s interests before Africa. The problem is African leaders are not United to face thier citizens’ problems.
