🌡️Climate Change, Can It Be Averted While Some Countries Are Withdrawing?

Can climate change be averted without involvement of other partner states? In the recent past, have been talking much about how we can mitigate climate change and it’s impact. Agreements have been signed, aiming at reducing gas emissions which damage the environment. Environmentalists have also intensified their campaigns against environmental degradation, targeting companies that emit fumes into the atmosphere and other activities that degrade the environment. However, we have also seen some countries withdrawing from agreements that are aimed at reducing the emissions of fumes from industries that also damage the environment. Notable among those countries is United States which has withdrawn from Paris agreement. It should be noted that, the Paris agreement was aimed at reducing fumes that go into the environment to a certain levels. This has thrown the whole situation into turmoil. Instead of being an example, United States by withdrawing has probably set a bad example. Do you think the world will be able to avert climate change and it’s effects without other member countries getting involved like the US? What’s your opinion?

I don’t think that climate change can be averted, how can it be averted when almost the whole world relied on gas energy to produce their products.

To have a huge impact and see an immediate changements the whole world must be involved in the process. It is not an affair of one country, it’s a global problem.

I think it will be a new optimism when the United States goes into the Paris agreement again.  President Biden said so on a press conference a couple of days ago.  It is difficult to join all countries in the world in such an agreement, but when all the big countries and smaller countries with money collaborates, they will achieve results with the climate problem.

Climate change problems cannot be averted because most countries are in competition for markers which makes it impossible for countries to a chieve objectives for maintaining climate.

The biggest issue at present is that renewable energy will not provide the required power to power industry especially heavy industry. If we were to retire fossil fuels what would we use for heavy transport?
Very interesting times.

If Biden officially elected as President, the US will ratify the Paris Accord. And the fight against climate change will be restarted.
