🙈Do You Agree That Nothing Is Certain in This World Except Death and Tax?

People say that there must be taxes. And its existence is everywhere. From head to toe there are taxes. We use shampoo, hair oil, hair clippers, powder clothes, lipstick, beard mustache, shoes, there must be a price. And in the price of these goods there are many taxes. When we sleep there are taxes. Sleeping equipment such as air conditioning or a fan, blankets, nightgowns, mattresses have a price. There must be many taxes in this price. When we were just born there were many taxes attached to it. So even when we die. We take taxes with us. We also have taxes on our graves. There was an American researching the question: How much taxes are on a loaf of bread? The answer is that on a loaf of bread is taxed more than 200 times. So, do you agree with the statement: “nothing is certain in the world except death and tax”?

That is correct that there is nothing more certain than death and taxes. Sometimes even taxes are a little uncertain but it is definite that it will be there.
Some of your examples are very interesting and I know that in Australia at present there is a broad based consumption tax on most items. Here though there is not consumption tax on fresh food so bread is not taxed here and the way our system works is that all the inputs along the way can be offset from the tax collected by a business. Very complicated and will take a little while to explain so I will not do it here.

I think taxes are as old as mankind, do you remember Zachaus the short man who was a tax collector. This was the time of Jesus Christ.

I totally agree with your opinion, life is very complicated and things can change at anytime, however these two things are very certain. On November 13,1789 to be specific Benjamin Franklin wrote a letter to a freind in which he said “In this world nothing can’t be certain, except death and taxes”.

Yes, the truth is nothing is certain like death and taxes, many things may look like they are certain and can’t change ,unfortunately they are not, they can change at anytime.

I believe in three things in this world that are sure to come. Death, luck and love. What do you think?

I don’t totally agree with that. Death is indeed the surest thing in human civilization. But, I believe that if a human can grow spiritually, he can reach a level where he transcends the mortal life. In that situation, death is not an issue anymore. And it makes death not as certain as for most people.

Then, taxes are certain. On every level, I agree with that. The tax system runs through every activity we perform. Even, the government taxes me for typing this comment (the tax for my internet service, electricity, laptop, etc.). But, of course, some people live in the jungle and is really outside the tax system.

Those who are living in the jungle are not out of taxes system, unless they stay naked until they died, but i think they will certainly use something from the market to cover their bodies.
