Do You Have Phobias—Real or Imagined—or Do You Think You Have None?
Phobias are excessive fear of something that is usually harmless. This fear can arise when facing certain situations, being in a place, or when looking at certain animals and objects. Phobias belong to an anxiety disorder disease. The person with a phobia will usually try to avoid situations and objects that trigger fear, or try to deal with them while enduring fear and anxiety. So, what do you think? What’s your phobia?
I don’t think I have phobias, but a I’m a little bit afraid to face strangers, those whom i don’t know. I’m a timid person.
You’re really great, Kenneth. You are a brave man. You did great things to yourself
You’re so brave, Jackson. You try not to be afraid and phobic about anything. And I think that’s cool
Leno, I think you should get rid of that shyness in yourself. You will be much better and progress with high confidence. But it’s okay if you are still shy, over time you will find confidence in yourself.
You’re really great, Kenneth. You managed to get rid of phobias from something. I think that’s very important to do
Yes, I’m trying it for a while, I really need to be confident and get rid of that. It has caused me more difficulties in many situations.
Leno. You have to believe that you can do it. You can do it over and over again until you can achieve it well
My phobia is swimming in rivers, swimming pools or in lakes.I cannot swim in any water, even shallow ones or in a small river.
Eli, have you previously had anything that made you swim phobic? I’m not a swimming phobia, but I can’t swim, Eli.
I can see Eli, its not only you, I have many friends who also fear water, even beathing is a problem to some people.😀
Hi, Ad.
That is a nice question and explanation.
I don’t think that I have any phobias both toward real or imagined objects. But, I really find it is uneasy about dealing with mice. But, I think my fear toward mice cannot be categorized as a phobia.
Hi, Ahmad.
I guess you are afraid of mice because you feel disgust for mice. Is it true?
You’re right, Jackson.
I suspect they have a phobia of it because they have drowned before
I can say that I’m not comfortable with great heights and very confined spaces but I don’t think I could say I have a phobia for those things. I won’t go into complete panic mode under such circumstances.
Hi, David.
Can you explain that you are uncomfortable with very limited heights and space? I know that you are afraid of heights
I don’t have phobias, I’m confident ,and not fearful ,my big problem is timidity, I’m not talkative person.
I think you need to get rid of your shyness, Leno.
It can hinder your social nature with people
