👮‍♀️Do You Support Compulsory Military Conscription in Your Country or in Other Countries?

most countries have compulsory military service called conscription. This is enlistment of people in military service usually after attainment of 18 years. Over 20 nations in the world have mandatory joining  or serving of the army for at least  a minimum of 18 months. These countries include Iran, Brazil, Morocco, Austria, Austria, Singapore and others. Compulsory military service is needed to support the standing army in case the number is not enough, to perform military propaganda and to help in mobilization and teaching new skills    to the young generation .There are some exceptions for compulsory military service eg in Iran if you are the only man in family  and caring for your parents and  they are a above 70 years you are excused to joining military service. Human rights activist  are against this compulsory recruitment of all men in military. What is your current status of military recruitment in your country? Do you support compulsory military service in your  country or in other countries?

I don’t support this. Sometimes it’s against a person’s will. Human rights activists are right. Why should people be forced to do something against their will?

I don’t support any service and job that goes against a person’s will. A person must allow to choose the job they love.

Military service should not be compulsory. It is good for those who wish to acquire skills or pursue a military career. If the country wants to encourage youngsters to enroll for this service,  they should offer good incentives to lure as many of them as possible but it must remain non-compulsory.

We have a similar thing in Nigeria, we call it YOUTH SERVICE (NYSC) the difference is that only university graduates participate in the program.

I think it’s good to do to defend the state ideology in the youth. So that they can love and defend their country well

I personally do not have an issue with military service. I think those that are unable to find work should do this to learn some skills and then also learn some discipline in their life and a little purpose.

I support compulsory military conscription.  It is necessary for the defend of a country and you learn much yourself when you participate in the military and develop new skills that you can use later in life.

It would be great if people have the right to make their own choice.

My country doesn’t exist either, Leno.
But what do you think if it’s done in your country?
Does it bring a good impact in your opinion?
