🧠Do You Think Inactivity Can Change the Structure and Function of a Brain?
I have read a paper entitled,
The detrimental effect of physical inactivity on neurogenesis
The paper explains that people with chronic inactivity and depression suffered severe brain damage. Also, the study found that people participating in physical activity during rehabilitation show significant brain improvement.
Inactivity refers to a state where a person does not perform a significant physical movement for a long period of time.
In your opinion, does inactivity lead to brain deterioration?
Inactivity for a long period of of time is not good for your brain. It can deteriorizse your brain, and decrease your ability to learn quickly and easily.
Inactivity is not only a problem to the brain only but also other body organs like the circulatory system which include heart and veins.Body activities makes production of hormones in balance and control .Thats why exercises for the brain like looking, movement,and seeing and head shaking are very important for the functioning of brain.
I believe that inactivity causes your brain to get lazy and the less you do the lazier the brain becomes therefor also making it harder for your brain to send out signals to your body to function properly. I feel that the less you do the less you will be able to. Inactivity does in fact contribute largely to a persons brain function and obviously brain function is important to get trough daily living.
I think it is true. Human brain that is rarely used will think it will not develop properly. They will have little knowledge of the world.

I agree with you. Inactivity does more damage to our brain as well as other parts of the body. Have you ever experience or witness someone who experiences that kind of damages due to chronic inactivity?
You relate to it very well. Our brain is critical in our daily life. Inactivity ‘train’ our brain to be inactive, or lazy as you have stated. In the long term, chronic inactivity will make our brain to be excellence in being inactive. Thus, it will eventually hamper our daily activity.
I agree with you. If a person does not use his brain regularly, it will shrink. There is a saying that the brain of a lazy person is as small as a nut seed.
I think being busy is not the same as being productive. And it is the latter that is beneficial to the state and development of our brain. People can be in a busy mode–doing many things for a long time–but don’t make anyprogress. That kind of busy state is not beneficial both for his productivity and brain development.
The brain works in the way that inactivity will deteriorate its function. And when that happens, the brain is not in its normal structure since many of its structure has been severely damaged.
