🔄 Do You Think the United States Will Have a Better Relationship With NATO and the European Countries When Joe Biden Takes Over the Presidency
It has for a long time been a difficult relationship between president Trump and his administration and the European countries. Mostly because of Trumps “America first” policy.
Do you think the United States will get a better relationship with NATO and the European countries with Joe Biden in the presidency?
Not really, even if Biden is officially declared President. I think that most of US foreign policy won’t change too much, because the republican party dominated the congress.
There is nothing wrong with being patriotic and nationalistic because at the end of the what Trump was trying to do was look after American citizens and their jobs because if citizens of a country do not have jobs then they cannot pay tax and if they don’t pay tax then the country has to borrow to pay for government benefits that are provided to citizens so it is a very vicious circle.
Pure economics. One thing that China does not appreciate.
I don’t think the US foreign policy was affected by Trump’s theatrics during the few years he has been in office. NATO leaders knew that he was just a reckless speaker whose term of office will soon end, and their prayers were answered by Biden’s election.
I guess the US foreign policy is one. It doesn’t depend on the person who is in power. I think there won’t be any shift in foreign policy after Joe Biden takes office.
Joe Biden will not change the USA foreign policy ; it is not something that depends on the president but the interest of the country and its citizens.
I think Joe Biden and his administration will change USA foreign policy in a way that creates more confidence and security from USA’s allies.
