Does Big Bang Have Anything to Do With God?

It is thousands of years that religions talk about God, while they have never been able to prove the God’s existence. But as soon as the Big Bang theory was introduced to public, religions took the advantage of it and claimed that the start-point that Big Bang talks about is related to nothing but God who decided to start the universe 13.7 billion years ago at that point.

What do you think?

Do you think that religions are right?

Please explain.

Hi Vahid, there are some people that are creationists and there are some that believe in evolution. I am not a theologian and I am sure that from what I have learned is that Genesis, the first book of the bible was used to explain the world to people that were not as educated or sophisticated as most of us today are. I certainly believe in evolution as the science is there to back this up and there are species that we can prove that roamed the earth millions of years ago that are no longer roaming yet we have their evidence in museums in the way of their remains.
To your question about the existence of God, there are many examples of a higher power and I certainly believe in God as there are many real life examples of miracles. There are a number of scientifically researched examples of consecrated hosts that are used in Holy Communion of the Catholic Church showing signs of life and evidence of blood. There are also examples of people that have been buried and then after a number of years their remains have been exhumed and there was no evidence of decay. Two examples of this is St Catherine LaBoure in France and Eileen O’Connor in Australia.
There are many other examples of there being a higher power and that being God with people recovering from terminal illness after praying to a person that has lived and the person that is ill has recovered with no plausible scientific explanation. There are many of these and there are a number in Australia after praying to Australia’s only Saint.Part of the road to becoming a Saint in the Catholic Church is for the person under consideration to have miracles attributed to them.
There are many other examples of things that have happened that are not able to be explained by science.

What about Big Bang?
Do you think it proves the God’s existence?

Men defined the big bang theory. However, men realized how limited they were in confounding the concepts and ideology of religious leaders and sought to beat the religious leaders at the challenge to define the existence of God. The religious leaders then could not measure up in delivering scientific valid proofs about God. So, the competing scientist won them over. But science is about fact. Over time there was a mesh between the advanced and knowledgeable scientist and theology. The religious men at this time where now bold to explain God’s existence through the works of scientific men, hence explosion of the big bang theory and religious/scientific debate of the earlier times as is recorded in history.

Interesting question as man created the idea of God and the concept/understanding of Big Bang Theory. The understanding behind the big bang makes more sense than the idea of god. So in answering the question no the big bang theory doesnt have anything to do with god

I don’t know a a lot about Big Bang, the only thing that I believe is that the universe and all its creatures was created by God.there are several theories written about the creation of the world.there are just human thinking.

The big bang theory is just what it is , a theory. It is assumed that since the universe seems to be expanding, then the starting point of this expansion is this big bang. Of course, what seems to be happening is not necessarily what’s really happening.
The universe is governed by cycles. What seems to be expanding could just be the effects of some cycle that could reverse or go in the opposite direction.
Scientists can’t even define/ describe or understand consciousness let alone the thoughts that criss cross  their minds all the time.

Big bag is just theory, these no evidence of it’s happening. There quite many theories that talk about this, but I believe God created the world.
