🔧🔨⛏Have You Ever Hated Your Job? What Do You Do?
We different experiences while at work. Once I worked on a job and every morning as I prepared to leave for work, I felt like I should resign from the job, like I should not go. I other wards, I hated my job, I was sick of that job/work. The experience was so energy draining. But I would force myself to go ahead and work because I had no any other choice. According to studies, many people are experiencing this kind of problem. They hate their jobs! They are sick of the jobs that they are doing. But they are continuing to do the same jobs because they have no any other choices. This not only affect the workers health and morale, but also the job they are doing. The quality of work is adversely affected and may fall too low. All in all, many people are silently continuing to work at jobs that they don’t like because of lack of an alternative choice. Has ever happened to you in your work experiences? Maybe it has happened to you, a friend/ relative or a loved one. What do you do when you find yourself in that situation?
If you take a look around the world, you will figure out that more than 60% of employees hate their job, they are not well payed or they didn’t get the job they were passionated about. I’m currently doing a job that i hate, it’s not the job that i want.i problem is i couldn’t find a good job, i was obliged to accept this job because i need money to take care of myself and my family.
I very rarely hate the work that I do. When I first started working, I really hated my boss. He treats employees at will. I didn’t accept that and I ended up resigning from my job. However, I have now found a much better job than before with very supportive people and bosses.
Adharad. Luck came your way, but studies show that many people are living in this situation, hate their jobs!
Hi Jackson, what do you think the reason they hate their job is? For me, co-workers are a major factor in doing work.
Hi Adharad. I think reasons for this can vary from person to person. Others are low pay, harsh treatment at work and other poor working conditions.
It’s true what you said Jackson. Even in Indonesia, workers are paid below the regional standard salary but with very heavy duties. They do it because they need money to live on
If I ever got to that stage I would go and look for another job and leave.
If I was to earn enough through Luckscout or EPIC then I will leave my current job as I really cannot see myself commuting to the city for another 10 years.
Hi Edward, I also really look forward to this club Luckscout to earn money.
True Adharad. And it negatively impacts much on productivity and quality of work that these people are performing.
Even so they do the work for money, Jackson. I was like that too. I do a lot of work now, one of which is joining this club.
True adharad, they do earn money but, it can either be money or other factors. Some hate jobs because it’s not their line of study, they are underemployed, etc. So, the reasons are many and they vary from person to person.
I also like you said, Jackson. I have a hard time finding a suitable job. But, I found this club that can make money. I think this is a good opportunity for me to earn money during the current pandemic
I also hate my current job of being store keeper in a hotel. Its time consuming, little money and un human behavior of the boss.
You see Eli Davis I have always believed that people leave a job due to the boss or management and your statement here leads me to conclude that there is some truth in my believe. It is incredibly hard to survive a horrible boss best of luck to you Eli Davis just keep your chin up even though it is not easy.
Who knows LuckScout may be your way out I really hope you find something that does not make you miserable.
I can feel how you feel Eli. It’s true that low-paying jobs and inhuman bosses make us hate our jobs.
Luckscout club is now the best opportunity to make money from home adharad. It’s right.
Never. I have never hated my job. I always think that I am lucky enough to get this job in the first place. My job has encouraged enormous growth to me both financially and personally.
Oh that is great Ahmad so glad you are happy in your current employment situation it is super nice to hear that you get to do something you love and are passionate about. Have you had any previously bad work experiences or have you always just been fortunate enough to have found the dream job?
Actually, the current job is am holding is my first job. So, I have never experienced any job before. As you said, I am fortunate enough to have the job I am passionate about in the first time.
Ahmad. You are among the lucky ones. Many people just go to work because they have no alternative jobs to do, but in actual sense they hate their jobs. Studies have showed this.
kenneth. It’s true many people are like you but are just hanging on for survival.
Jackson — Yes, I feel that way. But, I think we should choose a job that fits our passion or things that we really want to do, even without getting paid. Most people choose a job only for the sake of money. If that is the case, they will only have one happy day during a month, the payday time. And they will resent their work for the rest of the month.
But if we cannot find a job that we like in the first place, we should perform our current job with our best effort and determination.
Ahmad. These days there’s no choice for jobs, I mean many people are looking for survival to the extent that they can do anything to earn today’s food. We have talked about women selling sex, some do it just to survive, not because they love it. I’m I right?
Jackson yes you are right in todays world unemployment is a scary reality so if you are lucky enough to find a job it is important to hold on to it for your own survival we have limited options now a days unless you can fund your passion and open your own business. All of the above mentioned statements have most certainly added to peoples happiness involving work situations and really like I have mentioned above our choices are limited and many are indeed doing something they hate purely based on their need for survival.
Jackson, I hope so. I believe this club is helping me earn money due to job loss and during the pandemic
Yes Mr Jackson, we are working to survive and earn our daily food. That pushes us to do a job that we don’t like because we need money to survive.
Leno. That’s right. But for the few priveleged ones, I don’t realize this.
I hate my current job, but don’t have choice now, i have to accept it before finding out a good one.
Leno, many people are facing the same situation like you, I’m also facing the same dilemma as you. My job is hell, but I have to work because I have a family to look after. I would quit it now if I have an alternative, but I don’t have.
Just hang in there guys who knows what the future holds you guys might even land the jobs you have been waiting for I know it is not easy to remain positive but surly things can not stay bleak forever and will look up in the future to come. Just remember life is just a series of all our choices if you do not like the result change your choice to get different results.
Studies are not incorrect many people hate their jobs but survival, limited options and limited job openings have made it very hard for people to do what they love and many work to get by. In the comments above it should already be clear to you that many struggle with this issue and I can conclude that bosses, co-workers, limited options and survival is really something most of us can relate to. However there are people doing what they love so there is a percentage that do not hate their working situations. I also feel that the problem will not go away anytime soon it may even get worse. The population is very over populated more and more people will be needing work in the years to come so many more probably will get stuck in a job that they hate due to availability. Maybe the only solution is to fund your passion if possible and open your business. The only problem with the solution is that starting a business is expensive and not everyone can do it but it surely will also create new job opportunities for others.
Shane, you have given a wonderful insight into this question and I really agree with you. Starting own business will mitigate this impact but it’s not everyone’s piece cake. Thank you.
I don’t fully love the job I do right now but I’m not unhappy and I don’t hate it. I’ve accepted my situation and I’m making the best out of it. I can even work for many more years if I don’t find anything better.
David, certainly you don’t fully love your job, but outside here the situation is worse.
Currently, I am very happy to do my job. I feel like this is the best for me and I will do a great job
I have hated my job, but, that was when I was working in cooking oil factory.
adharad, that’s what everyone wants at work. I’m really happy for you and that’s what we all desire to have.
Kenneth, why do you hate your job so much? Is your reason about salary, boss or coworkers? You can have discussions in this club with everyone who is involved
People feel dab about their jobs for many reasons like poor pay, abad boss, long hours of work with little pay etc.
If you don’t have good job and well payed accordingly to your efforts, you will certainly hate it. Most employees are not well payed and don’t work at the position they feel passionate about. These situations make you hate your job.
This morning, I received news that a very annoying boss at my workplace had died. I am very sad for that. But, as long as I worked, I got mental pressure from him, I was treated casually with a limited salary. I think, after he died, all the employees got a better boss than him
Adharad, sorry for his family, may his soul rip. But this change your situation. Yes, it’s sad news but may be a blessing in disguise.Someone like that one made my previous job a nightmare and I had to leave, in fact I was terminated and was involved so much. When makes your life miserable, you can rejoice at his/ demise. But anyway RIP boss.
I was very shocked about the passing of my boss, Jackson. Maybe all of his subordinates were very happy that he was gone because he had been acting so casually. But for me, I really feel sorry for the family he left.
adharad, I too feel sorry for the family during this difficult time. It’s really hard for them.
Right, Jackson. It is very sad to see his family. But I think some employees are very excited about this. Indeed it is very inappropriate for me
adharad, you are right, death is last thing that one can wish another, even if they are enemies I think. No human being should celebrate the death of another.😥
Right, Jackson. All subordinates in this company prepare to be led by a new boss. I hope the new boss will be very kind
adharad. I wish the new boss is kind and understanding, no one deserves to be treated badly even if they are low level cadres in any organization. The bosses need to treat all workers with dignity. It’s a nightmare to work under a rude person. It kills me. I don’t think any human being deserve that.
Yes, but that was when I was working with vegetable oil industry. The job is stressful and dirty one.
Kenneth, teachers are respectable people, why do you hate being one?
In many countries, teachers are not well payed and treated as others government employees. That is something i don’t understand, if we know what teachers are providing in the country. They should be well payed as well as Prime Ministers,Doctors, lawyers etc….
I agree with you, Jackson. I don’t know why so many bosses are so disloyal to their subordinates. I think it’s because he lacks leadership traits that he lacks.
I agree with you, Leno. In fact, in my opinion, in Indonesia teachers are not properly paid. Many teachers are abandoned here. Many teachers are underpaid or do not get paid for several months. I don’t know why that happened
adharad & Leno, I guess the teaching profession is not taken serious by the authorities in many countries. Even here in Uganda, teachers are underpaid but a teacher is respected in public.
Jackson, I think teachers are also respected in Indonesia. But unfortunately, the salary was not well paid. In fact, it can last a lifetime. It’s really sad to see that
I’m not very clear here adharad, do you mean that some teachers are not paid in their life time?
Right, Jackson.
Some cases in my region, some teachers are not paid by the government in their lifetime. He only relies on the income from his students.
That’s the worst case scenario adharad, so for what reason is it like this? The government has no money? Or what is the cause? Because a lifetime is inhuman. It means these people in such a category don’t even receive any pension!
Teachers are not well payed in my country too, they can spend three or four months sometimes without receiving their Penny .many have resigned to that work and prefer to do their own business.
I don’t really understand why, Jackson.
Here teachers are paid well by the government when they get civil servants, if they don’t get it, it means they don’t get a salary by the government. In many cases, teachers only rely on the salaries of their students.
Ok. That means that teachers are so many and government can not absorb all of them. It’s the same situation here too adharad.
It’s sad to see this situation, Jackson.
Currently, the teacher is no longer an ideal but a fate. It is because of the low salary they receive. But believe me, teachers will bring a very great influence to this country. They have a tremendous impact on children’s education.
Indeed adharad, ateachers influence is so great. They shape a country in any way.
That’s right, his services were enormous, Jackson.
But unfortunately, they are paid very sadly
Teachers must very well payed, they shape countries and educate people, but at the contrary they are bad payed.
Thank you for this subject. I had a problem like this when I worked for the public school system here in New York City. The job was something I should have never gone to.No matter what you gear it is not easy to work with children. And what makes it worse is when you worked with people who pretend to care how this job affected you but were conspiring to make life at that job harder for you. Also the so called labor union that represented the employees did not do much to help or protect you from harassment. I finally decided I had had e km ouch of that so I found a way to leave. They had changed their so called requirements to keep that job but I had already decided that I was finished with their job so I purposely did not meet their latest requirements.Instead I took a part time job called courier which is still do but with a different company. The job I hated finally sent me a letter saying that I was terminated from them. I have not looked back since and I will never regret it.What sense does it make to stay in a job where your colleagues were out to get you?
I had a very bad experience working with the school system in New York City. And the job was to be an educational assistant. I had not only problems with the children but the staff was my worst enemies. The union that represented the employees did not protect or help me much. What finally made me get terminated from that job was not meeting some so called requirement they had implemented. I went to work for a courier company. Finally the job told m we that I was gone.I have no regrets. Never let anyone tell you to stay in a job you hate or to pretend it works. For it is what they say a job us just a job.And why stay if it makes you uncomfortable?
Myriam, you did the right thing, but I think in New York the situation may be different. It might be easier to find work than here in Africa. Here it’s not easy myriam, some people don’t give up due to scarcity of jobs, they just hang on even if they don’t like it.
They reason is simple, they are underestimated by the government.
I think another reason why teachers are poorly paid is that they are many. Being many plays a big role in poor renumeration.
Well, I don’t really like working for anyone, the city where I live is stressful managing another man’s business.
Kenneth very right, like me starting own business is the solution. Luckscout club is the solution.
It seems to be a worldwide problem with teachers, they are not well payed in several countries, even though they are the most important employees of the country. I don’t think if country can progress without teachers.
I think I am quite happy with my current job.
And I have the ambition to give my best in my current job
Good for you Ad, I’m not comfortable with mine. I’m actually looking for an escape route
Yes, I hate my job because is so stressful and is not my dream business. I do tyre business.
Yes, I hate my job because is so stressful and is not my dream business. I do tyre business.
I wish to change into another business that will easy and simple to assess.
Today I got stressed by my boss who called me that I should be at my work station about 350km from the city where my family stays. I had come for Christmas, and it’s 28th, children’s day, but the boss is telling me to be away from home and from my family. I felt so bad. I feel I should not remain in this job for long, I need to be independent.
Hi, Jackson.
You need to consider leaving your job.
You have to find a new and better job.
I am saddened by your story
Ad, I’m strongly considering leaving this job but the situation is still not good here. I’m looking here and there to see if I can get something else to do. This job that I’m doing is not giving me good health.
I’m sorry to hear your sad story. Please be strong and courageous, something better will come your way in the new year.
When someone hate it job, he will never work at 100% .he will not work hard to improve and achieve more, this is very dangerous for the employer and the company.
Very true Leno, productivity on the side of both parties become strained.
Jackson, I’m sorry that you were there.
You must be strong in living your life.
Do your best in this club, I’m sure you get more income from this club that you can use to finance your family’s life.
Thanks for caring adharad, I do believe that I can earn enough money with luckscout and be able to overcome these challenges.
Youre welcome, Jackson.
I’m happy to be connected with you.
I also really hope to make a lot of money in this luckscout, Jackson.
I need a lot of money for my life.
I have a job before joining Luckscout. And I love that job. I am now a member of this positive community, and I am delighted to be a community member.
I’m happy too Ad, yes to be happy and enjoy and live full life one needs to have money. It’s a big opportunity to make money here and this is not for everyone. Many people out there have the same desire to make money but they don’t have this chance Ad.
I currently hate my job , store keeper in hotel with little pay and time consuming , Imagine no Christmas and new year celebration.I hate the job no motivation.
I understand your frustrations Eli, but what’s funny is that there many people at the same time looking for such a job Eli
OMG, you are right Mr Eli,such job don’t us motivation to anyone, but as i mentioned in one of my posts, some times we do some jobs because we don’t have any choice, we have family to feed and take care, just be great and wait for the best opportunity. Keep praying every day, God is hearing your cries and he will soon give you a satisfaction. I’m in the same situation, i hate the job I’m currently doing, but i don’t have any choice to give up.
yes I don’t like my current business, which is tyre business, I which to change from it
I hope we can make money from this club, Jackson.
Let’s give our best for this club
I really don’t appreciate my job, but i do my best everyday to work perfectly and finish up my daily tasks. Want is important is to survive and save my life and my family.
Ad, you are very right. It’s a huge opportunity to make money here I think. Let’s just give it our best like you have said.
I hope we can do business across the country, Jackson.
I really want to do it.
Ad, I have the same belief that we can do it. I have a very strong belief like you.
Right, Jackson.
I really look forward to meeting club members here from various countries and building business connections, including yours
I have never hated my job or jobs. Now I am retired, but I think I have told you before that I have had several jobs as a leader and planner on different levels of public administrations.
That’s great for you and your family Steinar, you must have worked and lived a happy life.
