As a Pentecostal Christian I am deeply impressed with what the church has done in the lives of believers. Starting early from Sunday school the church educates children to be human beings who have love in life and believe in the existence of the creator of the universe. Then the church continues to educate the church of God on a weekly basis all the time so that everyone continues to live as outlined by the word of God until the end of life. That is why personal education is very strong influence in daily life today.

There is no denying that the influence of religion on a person is so strong that many people are willing to suffer because for religious worship, some are even willing to die martyrs just for their religious beliefs.

Isn’t religion also responsible for the majority of conflict? Albeit mostly due to extremists but a consideration

Shane Collins replied 1 week ago

Yes Gareth you are correct religion has in fact created many conflicts and still sort of is. There are so many religions and everyone is rushing to defend what they believe in without questioning the believe first.

I grew up in a family that believe in existence of God. They teache me to respect others, avoid doing everything bad that I can’t do to myself, being humble ,polite at all times. They well educated me how to behave.
Without religion I think I will not be the same person I’m today.

Hi Kenny, how can you be a Christian and have nothing to do with Religion. It is confusing

Leno Jean Pierre answered 3 months ago

I never see a religion that teaches their followers to perform, crimes, evil acts, use guns to fight the population. Bad people are using religion to make confusion ,create conflicts among religions, Religions teache good behavior, rise up good people, promote peace, consider everybody equal….

In my opinion, religion plays a very important role in shaping perspective. This matter first of all because religion touches the basics of human life. Teachings religion contains a guide that guides the life of its adherents. Religious teachings answer things that are meaningful to life that are expressed in the view of questions and answers on the search for the meaning of life of every human being.

Hi, Ad.

I think the simpler version of your answer is that Religion teaches human to be human. The only institution in the human civilization that provides the answer to the basic questions of Where we come from, where we go when we die, and Who we really are is Religion.

I do not believe in religion so it does not have such a great impact on my life. I believe that religion just teaches people different values and believes that I can not say I agree with. Not all religion teachings is correct in my opinion. It also becomes increasingly hard to believe in one religion when there are so many and not only one in the bunch can be correct I am sorry. I respect everyone else that chooses to be religious however I do not follow the believe.
