If Everyone Had a Warning Label, What Would Yours Say?
Usually when we are kids(and sometimes when we are adults) our parents, family or friends say “you should come with a warning label”. This is usually in jest as we might have certain personality traits like being hyperactive, really loud, confrontational, argumentative etc. When I asked my parents what label I should have it was ‘Do not give caffeine or sugar after 4pm’ because they found I was little too wild in the evenings and they could never get me to sleep. As an adult my misses has relabeled me ‘Do not feed onions’ as I get a little windy! What would your label be?
Very interesting question Edward 🙂. I need to think more about it first to a reasonable answer.
Mine would be “never judge a book by its cover.”😎
Why I’m I doing this? Many times we have underrated situations, people, and other things in life. But later in life we started regrets for our actions. So it’s better to critically analyse anything before making any judgement.
I remember when my grandma told me a story about my fearlessly in my childhood. She said that i had not fear for anything, including fire, knife even to people older than me.
I could walk in the night for a long distance alone.
Nice topic Gareth 🙂 I don’t remember if I had any label when I was a kid. But if you ask me what label I want to have on me now, it can be one of these, maybe because now I want to give message to people. They are not my personal labels so. I can call them my messages:
- I respect you and your rights!
- Deeds speak!
- I am what you see, not what you think or imagine.
- Whether you think you can, or you think you cannot, you are right. – Henry Ford
- Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. – Albert Einstein
I will say that my label is work now and play later or play now to work later ,chose the one you want.
My label is to hustle now that am strong and strengthen, so that I can not find this life a difficult one
I think y other warning label would be if you don’t want to hear the truth don’t ask me
Haha Mr Gareth, i love that one. If you want to hear the truth don’t ask me.
This has created many divergence between me and many people who don’t like the truth or who used to hide the truth. I consider it as my weakness, i don’t hide the truth what matter the circumstances or situation.
Very interesting question. I am very upset with people who only look at physique and appearance. Maybe that’s the warning label I’d really like to convey
My label would be praying.praying with my friends was want I wanted more when I was young.
I really appreciate you.
I thought you were a very religious person.
You always put God in your life first.
I am very happy to know that
Do you think that if people act mean to you, you will get back at them, David?
My warning label was that on know reason should beat an elderly person irrespective of what the person do or say.
That is great Mr Kenneth, it is a good example of label. We should respect elders and protect them instead of beating them.
My warning label is that your dignity is very precious and so one should guide his dignity with his life .
