🍾Is Alcohol Abuse on the Increase?
Alcohol abuse is on the rise it seems. Since the outbreak of Covid19, and the subsequent lockdown, many people resorted to drinking alcohol. This used to happen here in the city where I stay. Probably you have seen it in communities around where you stayed. I think Covid19 outbreak and what happened there after, contributed a lot to alcohol abuse. Many people used to lock themselves in houses as early as 9am and drink till night because they were rendered redundant. This resulted in kind of alcohol abuse where by people took in too much. After that, when the lockdowns were lifted, some people found themselves in that drinking mode.😥 Do you think the current rise in alcohol abuse is due to Covid19 and the subsequent lockdown? What is your opinion?
Alcohol a buse has been their since the creation of man kind.Areas which were hit by Covid, even alcohol consumption reduced partly due to loss of jobs. Its only rich people who used to drink. This type of alcohol takers drink responsibly.Few individuals who abused alcohol cannot be campared to the effects ofcommon Man
Certainly yes, when take too much it become abuse. The bible even condemned excessive drink of alcohol
It’s a big problem of the humanity for now, many people do abuse alcohol by taking too much, then they become uncontrol .people should learn their dose.
I dont think COVID has helped as so many people are looking for an escape. The problem isnt helped by how cheap alcohol is though and in some cases it as cheap as soft drinks.
The restaurant, hotels, and bars clossure made a little bit a barrier for many alcoholic person. The lock down period has contributed to the decrease the number of alcoholic person or diminish their dose, because alcohol was unavailable for them.
Leno. In my country, it’s a different senario. During lockdown period, too much alcohol was consumed and figures show this. People spent time from morning to evening on drinking spree but in their homes. Beer production was not stopped and trailers kept ferrying gallons and gallons of beer into the market.
Hummm, Mr Jackson things was very different here, first it’s a Muslim community, most people are Muslim, they don’t drink alcohol, so the rules were followed strictly and people were also very afraid.
