Is It True That Politics Is Dirty Game?
In the recent past, we have seen many Politicians fighting as if holding a political office is between life and death. This has been so in many different countries, US has also had it’s own share in the past few months. But I have seen this in my country Uganda for a quite long time. I normally follow current affairs and I guess it’s not a different case in your country. We have few exceptions, in countries like Canada, Australia and quite a few more others where you can hardly hear about these political battles. Is it true that politics is a dirty game? What’s your opinion?
Politics is always dirty – no such thing as a clean fight these days. They rely on peoples votes and the only way to get more votes is by discrediting your opponent – hence the dirty tactics
In essence politics is the noblest science and practice in the human civilization, but it is the hardest. Politic, in its very core, is the science of the distribution of justice and welfare. That is why every state constitution always filled with noble promises and words. But it is the human itself, especially the government people, who has yet to fully understood politics. There many cases where politics is very dirty, although there cases where the opposite is true, where politics is performed truly. It is not the politics that is dirty, but at the current state of development, we lack the true statesman, by a lot. I think the science of statesmanship should be taught in every level of education system anywhere in the world.
Politics is about power. And power is control and wealth. To get the power you have to outmaneuver your opponents or competitors. To win such battles you need to use every trick in the book…like playing the man and not the ball.
I personally feel that politics have been a dirty game for much longer than we all would like to believe or know. Politicians need the general public and like above mentioned answers that have already stated that it easier to annihilate their competition hence why their actions can be seen as enforcing dirty tactics to get what they want.
It looks like everybody that have answered this have the same opinion about politics.
I don’t say that this never happens, but, we have no better system in a democracy to govern a country with a majority of the peoples meaning trough elections.
Yes its all we have got and its better than nothing – well in most countries anyway
In our world, all things cannot be equal. So, politics is a dirty game especially in highly corrupt countries like Nigeria
Politics is played in many different ways in different countries and a lot of the time it is a brutal sport and generally nothing is left to chance and yes it can become very dirty and it is not for the faint hearted.
Politics is always a dirty game especially in a country like Nigeria, the zoo where political leaders are the most wicked due to their political ambitions.
I think the majority of people in politics play by the rules and dont do anything underhand – they are called politicians. The ones who bend and break the rules are called Leaders, Prime Minister, Presidents. You dont get to those positions without playing a little dirty.
I have never seen a dirty game like politics.in my country every time they are fighting against each other in their office, online,on television etc.
Politics is a dirty game, i have never seen a dirty game like politics.politicians do whatever they want for their own ambitions and purpose, specially in Guinea it all about their own interests, they can do everything shameless for only their ambitions .
