Is Money the Source Evil?
They say that money is a “source of all evils” and indeed when we look around us, many evils and crimes have been committed in the name of looking for money. All in all, people have been killed, property destroyed, family split, name them. But all these happen because of money. Is money the source of all evils as they say?
Money is necessary to have a good life. You will suffer a lot when you don’t have enough money. But some people try to take other peoples’ money instead of making it the right way. This has nothing to do with money, and those who say money is the “source of all evils” are 100% wrong. Humans’ stupidity and ignorance are the the source of all evils.
Money on its own is not the source of any evil. It depends on how a person acquires it.
No. Money can not be the source of evil, rather the of money, Bible said is the love of evil.
Money itself is not a source of evil. They way we use it is the matter.
Money, in itself, is not a source of evil. But the letting of money to consume people mind and soul is the source of evil. Money is a tool, just like a knife or a gun. In the hand of a wise man, it will be very useful both to himself and to others. But, to the uneducated mind, knife and gun will be a source of disasters. The similar situation also applies to money.
Money is not evil it is simply a object or a tool to live life with. However peoples greed and ever hungry need for money is what makes it evil that’s just the way I feel.
Anyone that thinks money is a source of evil should kindly send the money to my account. I will appreciate it greatly
Nnaemeka love your answer!! Yes I can help take some of that evil away too!! Its not money that’s evil its the people
The what creates that evil mind, isn’t it money?
The evilest creature in earth is a Man. Man can do everything that pop up in his head,he can even use good thing to hurt people. I never heard one day that money has bitten someone in the pocket.
Money is not the root of all evil. Excessive greed is the problem. We all have varying degrees of greed within ourselves and some people have allowed greed to grow to such an extend that it has become their nature. They then embark on stealing, dispossessing, robbing and even killing to satisfy their big appetites.
I agree with you David, your explanation is spot on. It’s true, greed has taken very deep roots in our communities to so much alarming levels.
No. Money is not source of Evil, rather the love of money is the root of all evil.
I don’t agree with that statement, no is not the roof of Evil, excessive love of money and greed is the source of evil thoughts. Whoever loves too much money can become an evil person and can do everything (killing, stealing, armed robbing, crinimality etc)to get money .
Money by itself help us to solve many problems.
Not at all, it is how you use it and how it is acquired as it is used. I agree with others is that it is a tool.
Hail no, money is good, it can’t be source of evil, rather, is only when one loves money more than humans that it can cause evil doing against humanity, Take for example, African leaders loves money far better than their citizens, that’s why Africa is not developing.
Money is not a source of evil. Money simplifies all human affairs and allows human beings to live well. Evil stems from money committed by evil-hearted people
Definitely not – this use to be something poor people said because of feeling exploited by the rich
Money is the source of most evils done in the community.most people after acquiring money they become demi gods you cannot talk to them, they gramb poor peoples land because justice in court system favours the rich which makes poor people to be desperate, they can even kill to steal money.
I think it depends on how one uses the benefits of money. Money can be a source of goodness. Money is indeed a source of crime for some people, such as criminals. But, money can also be a source of charity for someone ^^
Kenneth, your comment is a little correct. But I think if we can manage money well, it will keep us from evil. Many billionaires use their money for useful activities.
