Is Trump Eligible to Contest in Another US Election after Losing This Second Term?

I would like to know whether he can vie for the presidential post in another election.

I think the US constitution allows him to do so if he so wish. It doesn’t talk about two consecutive terms but two terms. Meaning he still has a chance to run for president again.

Yes,  constitutionally he (Trump) qualify to contest another election if he loses.

The constitution allow it to be presented as a candidate for the next election, so he can contest in another election after losing.

Yes he can but Im not sure he will – depends on how Biden gets on I reckon. If Biden cant deliver on his promises the Trump may start a huge media campaign against him

America really need to elect younger people for president. It is ridiculous that they keep voting for rich old blokes.
I realise that it is costly to run an election campaign but seriously a bloke that is 78 and Trump will be the same if he runs in 2024 provided he is not in gaol.

Constitutionally Trump can run for president if he wish to do so. But from the irreparable damage he did to his image, I doubt he’ll make such an attempt.
He should rather join the old presidents club and involve himself in philanthropic work to salvage any dignity left in him.

If he officially loses this election, he can run for presidency in 2024. The 22nd amendment of the US constitution allow no person to serves as US president more than twice and it include non-consecutive position. It means that if Trump loses this election, he has still one more chance to serve as US president. But if he, miraculously, win this election, it means this term is his last. Unless there is no constitutional amendment that cancel the current constitutional arrangement.

Eli — Yee, the US constitution has no age limit for a presidential candidate. However, it limits a particular person to be a president twice. And Donald Trump has spent his first term. Thus, he only eligible to be the President of the United States one more time.

Yes he can but the biggest challenge to him will be if he faces any criminal charges as this will make it impossible for him if convicted.

I know that Trump will go for the next election and contest again even if he loses the election. He wants to be at the White House office permanently like African leaders.
