    Hey James,

well, I think every trader who is using too many strategies should ask himself that question. People like to take too many setups, and because of that they are trying to find any strategy who will allow them that, but at the end they can never master only one strategy. From Chris and Kamel we got great strategy which is working, and I am pretty sure that I will not tried another strategy until I trade on Forex.

Good to hear that ben the thing is we try so many strategies without success…..the problem is waiting for a good setup for i believe for strong setups they take time to generate and patience is what most of us lack

    James,

I see you know all that.
You just need to implement your knowledge in your own case 🙂

James you’re correct. Am already short on AUDCAD, As you may have known the two are positively correlated.Just as you noted NZDCAD not ready to dive yet. With my entry point it would have given a go ahead if the last candle on daily has closed below lower band. You already known my strategy on my journal.

    Hello guys,

my suggestion for less margin requirements would be long cad/jpy.

It’s the same as long nzd/jpy and short nzd/cad. -> Buying CAD, Selling JPY and NZD does nothing because it gets sold and bought at the same time.

Hi Boniface i understand your strategy well now because am almost using same by looking for ranging market then wait for a S/R breakout to enter about NZDCAD it opened with a gap didn’t enter am waiting the gap to be filled

    HI James,

    what I meant is:

I read in this or another thread about a long nzd/jpy and a short nzd/cad position.

So in this case NZD gets bought (nzd/jpy long) and sold (nzd/cad) at the same time.

Also JPY gets sold (long nzd/jpy) and CAD gets bought (nzd/cad short). So in this case it would be easier to just go long CAD/JPY – one trade instead of two with the same effect.

nzd/cad I also expect it to go down as you but the gap is unfortunate so I don’t want to enter anymore. We need a good price for every trade, otherwise a retrace hitting our stop becomes more probable.

Sebastian, you’re very correct. It’s just analyses and one should not take all at the same time by buying and selling a particular currency at the same time.

    Hi everyone
EURUSD has broken a strong support level at 1.05046 on momthly time frame, very strongly seems like it’s heading south strongly…very tempting to ride on

yes its tempting James, and for this I set a sell order at the broken S/R 1.05400 level which may take time and at the cost of missing the trade.

note: one can go for other approaches too.

EURAUD has broken a resistance line and the market has been ranging on daily chart, weekly chart also shows price has bounced off on lower band and finally on monthly the price has reached a strong support level at 1.41092

This pair is not trending. Trending is better traded. Sometimes the breakout are unreliable.

When price trends strong it hardly cross the middle band. Just check AUDJPY, CHFJPY, NZDJPY. AUDCHF long has given a go ahead when the daily closed below lower band. Your position could end to trend. Good luck. It’s correlated AUDCHF
