🎉New Year and Your Birthday, Which One Is Worth Celebrating, and Why?

The new year is around the corner and as I write this, in some countries they are already celebrating the New year. The new year comes early in some Asia countries like Australia and others. In other words, a person’s birthday is another big day of the year in many people’s lives. This marks another landmark in every person’s life, although some people don’t bother to remember it.
A new year, like a birthday, have history of celebrations. On every occasion, at the onset of the new year and a person’s birthday, some people do Celebrate and even light fireworks. I myself, always Celebrate the new year, but rarely do it for my birthday. Why do I celebrate the? It’s my time to reset my goals after a long and tiredeous year of shustling with the world. It feels important to me than my birthday because I always look back and see what I have achieved and feel motivated to do more. It’s therefore important to me to celebrate this time of the year than my birthday day. So, according to you, which one is worth celebrating and why? What is your take on this?

I don’t think it’s more important to celebrate both.
I mean, on birthdays, you don’t have to celebrate. Because I think on birthdays, you better realize that your age is getting older and doing less and less.
When the new year is the same, you should reflect on what you haven’t done in the previous year and what mistakes you did and plan well for the big plans for the next year.

A very good opinion here Ad, I agree with you, I don’t celebrate birthdays but for the new year I just congregate with colleagues if I happen to meet them and we share ideas for the future. It’s not a celebration as such on my part.

Right, Jackson.
For me it is self-reflection on that day, reflecting on my mistakes and failures to be better

I agree with that, Jackson.
Therefore, I rarely celebrate on birthdays or new years, it’s better to reflect on myself

So, after reflecting and find that you have done great or achieved some of your goals, what do you do Ad? Do you Celebrate your achievement or you just leave it at that?

I don’t celebrate my past accomplishments, Jackson.
I am quite grateful for the achievement without big celebrations.
I think the challenges I will face are tougher in the future so I do not celebrate anything

That’s very tough Ad, what drives to that level? It means you are always hungry for more. I’m right Ad?

I don’t celebrate any longer my birthdays and new year eve Jackson.  I celebrated those days before when I was young.  I have celebrated my birthdays with a big party every 10 year from I was 50 years old.  Now I appriciate every year I am able to get in life and are lucky to be healthy and alive and of course being a member of the LuckScout club, Epic Trading and to know you all here in the club.

I don’t know, Jackson.
I always do.
I don’t want to be complacent, and always want to improve.
I don’t want to be just at the bottom, I want to be at the top and the best.

The both are very important, but, i prefer to celebrate my birthday than the new year, reason is that it is he who is alive that will celebrate new years.

Leno, what are your reasons for doing so, many people see them as waste of time and resources, and they don’t bother celebrating their. What do you say about this?
