Should the Government of Your Country Provide Free Birth Control?
Sometimes a controversial subject but with all the pressures on the worlds resources and the environment and the situation only getting worse as the population continues to grow should there be assistance to control births.
The population is currently growing by approximately 81million people per year and the average world life expectancy has increased from 66.3 years to 72.6years over the last 20 years.
So should we look to try and control the flow and should the Government in your country be providing free birth control?
Yes, birth control has always been provided for free here in Uganda, although not directly by the government, it’s already being supported by it through some other agencies.
So the next question is how do we get the populations to use it!
The government should provide free birth control to her citizens.
I agree that birth control should be provided by the government and it should be free. But believe this is not their priority in Africa, they don’t care about ,what matter for them is how to remain at their position, how to steal country’s goods, money then buy luxurious cars, expensives houses and feeding their mouths.
It’s necessary for national growth and development. Countries should plan by controlling population explosion through family planning as control measure. It’s a government responsibility.
No. Unless in the country where government support their citizens.
In my country, government provided birth control for free to the people. Not only does the government provides the tools but also the guidance and consultation for family planning.
No. Reason Nigerian government is not doing anything for their citizens so is not birth control they will start doing. However, if government start supporting families, I think is right if they add birth control to cotale money spent.
Seen the way problems people are facing accros the world, government must cooperate with family to decrease the birth. Many family are unable Perform their duties towards their children
Including Education, nutrition, protection and so in, which is providing criminals, uncontrol person, gangsters, armed robbers…
If government provide free control birth i think it will possible to reduce some criminality and many other familial issues.
Am from Nigeria, I don’t want Nigerian government to support families for birth control unless if start supporting families families.
The South African government provide free birth control services at its primary health facilities.
They should provide free birth control and even more others services, like education, heathy, but they don’t care. In many countries its include in the budget, and money is used to do another business
Government should provide free family planning services to it’s citizens.
Unfortunately it doesn’t help that all the developed countries donate millions of pounds each year through charities to the worst affected countries in a bid to keep all the children alive that really wouldn’t have been born were birth control and family planning supported by the countries government. Its a sad state of affairs that a lot of these children end up dying to.
I reside in South Africa and the South African government does provide many forms of free contraceptives and female health care programs and if it not yet available in your county yet I hope it gets implemented soon.
There are some cultures that only believe in having many children and these people would not know how to access birth control. In these cultures I am sure the man is the problem in that he shows his virility by the number of children that he is able to produce.
Just thought of this one after I clicked submit, are we proposing to go down the Chinese route and the single child policy?
I think the best solution is to educate people and then we need to understand the resources that we need to feed the planet and then we need to spend some money to ensure that we can do it. Greed is a part of the problem.
I think the government should do it and educate people how it is important to not have many children and how it will benefits them. But the don’t care about people’s problems.
Well, we don’t have any thing free from Nigerian government. So since they don’t provide any thing free for Nigerian citizens, so they should keep their birth control.
Their is no laws for that, but i think the government should do it in order to reduce the raising of the poor families. Many families have lot of children that they can’t control and educative and even send to school.
That’s a shame as the government are clearly just compounding the problem within their own countries and everyone suffers.
If the government provide free birth control, they will reduce many issues and trouble caused by criminals that came from poor family whom their families wasn\’t able to educate, and take care of. The families will have less uncontrol children and be able to feed, well educate ,take care and control their children.
Yes goal needs to be issue free birth control, stabilize population in line with resources, educate everyone and look forward to a brighter future
I don’t think is proper to control free birth, because they are not the one that will provide or train the child. So they don’t have the right to control free birth. People should give birth to the number they can train
À part from providing birth control, there are many others things they should provide, like education, alphabetization ,supporting poor families.
I think the birth in Indonesia needs to be suppressed. Given that Indonesia is the fourth largest country. In addition, employment opportunities are very small compared to job seekers.
Hi, all.
I think the government has provided birth control for free to its citizen. In Indonesia, there various method to control birth, and the government provides it for free. There is also increased awareness among Indonesian young family to limit the number of children they have. Most of them are due to financial consideration.
