🍻🍷 The Bartending Profession

It does not matter whether it is a female or a male bartender I feel this profession has many challenges apart from long hours I do not think that it can be easy to deal with such a large group of people under the influence. Alcohol also sometimes cause bartenders to be treated with the utter most disrespect from customers. I know that the profession is not viewed as an essential service and might seem to serve a lesser purpose but it does not really mean it is totally unimportant and people working behind the bar also deserve respect. What do you think could you handle the bartending profession? I definitely think it can not be easy to work with so many people how about you?

Honestly it’s one of the difficult profession i know. I had been a bartender when i was at high school, its wasn’t easy for me to deal with most customers when the finished drinking the alcohol. Insulting me at anytime, as had to be quiet to avoid the mess in the bar. Sometimes some people could drink alcohol without paying me and when my boss came i had to take all consequences.
A very annoying profession.

It’s definitely one amongst the most difficult professions up there. It’s a difficult task to deal/ handle with all these intoxicated people, some shouting at you and others abusing. There’s no respect because one is dealing with people who are not in their senses.

I have held a few bartender jobs in the past when I was at University. There is always a mix of people and the majority are ok and fun however you do get the few who are rude and violent. Luckily I never really experienced to many who were like this. But I do agree its hard work and generally not very well paid.

Yes,Mr Gareth some respectful people behavior well and don’t make you feel angry, but there are some customers, when they take at least one cup of wine, they start shooting, talking about nonsense.I have met lot of such customer and had to be quiet and smart to avoid issues with them.

Most of the bartending works are performed at night, and you need to stay up all night which is not a good thing for your health in the long term. I personally don’t think I can handle that kind of work even accepting that bartending job in the first place. Furthermore, I think the constant exposure to alcohol and nightlife is also not a good one for our mental and spiritual growth.

Of course Mr Ahmad, barbending job is performed by the night most of the time. In the day, customers are less and don’t have enough time to spend in the bar. when i was doing this job i used to sleep at 2 or 3 am in Norming sometimes until 5 am.

I do not think I can cope with the stresses along with low income I would not like to pursue a career within the bar industry. I would rather own the bar and let people that can and are willing to deal with it do the work and compensate them as they deserve to be. I will be offering my employees a better salary lets face it bars only run because off the staff and I would choose to reword them as such if possible.

Yes Mr Collins that is a good option, if you find a trustful person to manage your bar, it will be better than doing it by yourself ,it is one of the stressful job
