US Election – Latest Polling

So it seems from CNN that Joe Biden is leading Donald Trump in the polls and he has more than 50% of the vote. Is this something that is going to happen? Will Donald Trump be beaten on 3 November? Or will the American public vote Trump in for a second term? This is going to be interesting for the next three weeks. Thoughts?

Still I think Trump will win. This has happened before too. Hillary Clinton was ahead of Trump the last time too. But Trump won. He still has time and nobody knows what he will do until the last minute.
This is what I think. Maybe I am wrong.

Edward Duffy answered 2 months ago

Vahid, yes I think for the sake of the US economy Trump should win but the news services are saying that Biden is ahead of Trump in the polls by a greater margin than ever before and this would be a reason that the markets are getting very nervous.

Gareth White answered 2 months ago

Yes Trump all the way. When the real vote takes place you will see the swing happen. Trump is all about wealth and this is what people ultimately want

Edward Duffy answered 2 months ago

I agree completely gwhite. Even though he says some really dumb things at times wealth of the citizens of the US are his priority as well as the fortunes of his country. I think all leaders need to focus on their Country more instead of the whole world.

For me I think nothing is done yet.Trump can win ;Biden has a huge change to win too but only results of de vote Will determine the winner. If it were in Africa I would say that Trump may be the winner because in Africa most of the time the one who organize the election has huge change and favor to win.
Just my way of thinking ;I don’t know anything about politic

Gareth White answered 1 month ago

I think Biden just needs to hope he is still alive – why do they elect such old candidates

Jackson Mugarura replied 3 weeks ago

Gwhite; what the hell is going in a great nation of many great, young vibrant and energetic people to let these oldies take the centre stage. Really, it looks crazy to me. Maybe I’m wrong!

Leno Jean Pierre answered 1 month ago

The News services said that Biden is ahead of. Trump in the polls by a greater margin but I think None of them is favorite and only the vote will determine the real winner.

Looking at the latest on the US Election it looks like more than 17 million people have cast their votes which they are saying is the most ever. I think it is going to be a very interesting time in the next few weeks especially after election day until the vote is declared.
If we are not in the US then lets sick back and watch the show.

The outcome of the US election will have an impact on all countries in the world. That is why discussing this election is exciting and is relevant to our daily life. I believe Trump will win. I will be back to this comment on November the 4th.

The latest media reports are saying that Trump is in trouble and Biden is about 10 points ahead in the polls and the battle ground states where Trump beat Clinton the last time are now turning and it appears that the voters are angry with the way Trump has handled the pandemic.
God help America and God help the world.

Today voting has began in Florida State, latest polls give Biden a small lead. However in 2016  Trump was always behind in polls but he emerged as a winner. There are currently 8 swing states which determines the winner and each candidate is mobilising voters to support him.
Trump major problem now is Corona virus,he had performed better economically before the disease came in.

Jackson Mugarura answered 1 month ago

I wish whoever wins the best. They’re all old, is it saying that ” old is gold”?

Edward Duffy answered 1 month ago

Birember, yes that is what the media is saying. Trumps major problem is his handling of COVID.

Edward Duffy answered 1 month ago

If Trump gets defeated on November 3 there may be a few other leaders that may be put out by a return to previous diplomacy policies and a move away from the Trump way of doing diplomacy.

Ahmad Khasan answered 1 month ago

Yes. There will be a dramatic changes if Trump got defeated on November 3rd. Maybe that will make the end of the trade war.

Thé CNN poll of polls tracks the average poll results in the race for president between Donald Trump and former vice president Joe Biden.
The pool of polls includes the most recent polls which meet CNN’s. CNN’s standards for reporting and which measures the views of voters. The poll of the polls doesn’t have a margin of sampling error.
Joe Biden 52%
Donald Trump 42%

Jackson Mugarura answered 1 month ago

I think, Mr Trump is the next president in history books to fail to win the second term in after George Bush Senior!

Gareth White answered 1 month ago

If Biden gets in its time to sell USD as they will have a huge recession.

Jonathan Yodok answered 1 month ago

I think Donald Trump will win this election again because he is a brave and wise democracy fighter and a justice fighter. Trump has many political enemies but in the meantime he is able to prove that he is fighting to further America through the alliance of international allies.

Polls cover people who are on street, many are at home due to Corona virus, let’s wait and see on voting day

Eli Davis Keinamura answered 1 month ago

Florida State polls ,all candidates are on neck to neck.Biden has 49, while Trump has 47 percent .it is one of the swing states with 29 electors. The total electors is 538 and to win ,you need a minimum of 270 electors. The presidential debate has increased the percentage of Trump to a small margin.

Jackson Mugarura answered 1 month ago

I’d bet on Joe Biden to win this election. Trump has messed up Covid19 situation and it will cost him dearly in thes elections. The majority of the American people are so sensitive about such issues.

David Matlala answered 1 month ago

Biben 8 points ahead as of early 31/10/20

Nnaemeka Victor answered 1 month ago

The race has become more tougher. Hopefully, Trump will win.

Edward Duffy answered 1 month ago

It is interesting that Biden’s lead has reduced to 8 points. That means that Trump is making a late charge. I heard this evening that the most number of Texans in any type of voting have submitted a postal vote. I think we may see a very high turnout on Wednesday.

Jonathan Yodok answered 1 month ago

We believe that the people are mature enough to choose the right president for their country. There will definitely be great competition to win their respective votes.

Gareth White answered 4 weeks ago

Certainly getting closer – a lot of the states are sitting on the fence so it will come down to the wire at this rate. Trump will have to hope for some Russian interference and Biden some Chinese!!

Edward Duffy answered 4 weeks ago

So the latest polling in the US is showing that Biden is ahead of Trump by less than 10 points and it varies across the different polling organisations which is something that I am  not used to as here is Australia we have two polling companies and the results are normally reasonably close.
Do we think that Trump will still win the election? Will Trump come through on the back of silent voters?

Jackso answered 4 weeks ago

At times when we like something and we’re waiting for it, we always keep waiting for it to happen, sometimes in false belief even if the indications show the contrary. And what I have noticed as the US elections draw closer, some of us have a false belief that Mr. Trump may win, but how is this possible when all indicators have been showing that he’s behind in all the opinion polls.

Ahmad Khasan answered 4 weeks ago

Biden wins the polls. But he may or may not win the election. A lot of things influence the final outcome.

Jonathan Yodok answered 4 weeks ago

The whole world except China hopes Trump returns to power. Biden is a good and influential politician but not very firm in dealing with the Chinese powers that threaten world security.

Leno Jean Pierre answered 4 weeks ago

Joe Biden has been ahead of Donald Trump in most national polls since the start of the year. But there is no evidence that he will win because the US uses an electoral college system. So winning national vote the most doesn’t always win you the election.

Gareth White answered 4 weeks ago

Its going to be a gripping result. There have been further leaks today of the sleeper votes – basically where people haven’t said who they are voting for or where they have said they are voting for Biden when in reality they will vote Trump on the day. Lots of games happening

Leno Jean Pierre answered 3 weeks ago

During Compaign must people doesn’t show their true choice. They hide their real opinion about whom they are going to vote for. What is why we used to say that only the results will determine the real winner.

Nnaemeka Victor answered 3 weeks ago

Biden is very close to be declared the winner
