🎅What Are Your Thoughts About Christmas and How Are You Celebrating in Your Country?

Christmas means different things for everyone of us.  For some people it is a religious holiday and celebration. Others don’t feel like this, but come together in family parties and reunions.  Christmas is also a profitable time for the business because people are shopping more gifts than any other season of the year. What are your thoughts about Christmas and how are you celebrating in your country?

As a Christian, I believe that Jesus was born on the 25th of December, in my country, we celebrate on that 25th of December.

Christmas here used to be a big celebration, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ the son of God who later died for sinners. We go to church and praise and after that, we go home and feast on every type of food with our extended families.

As already mentioned by Jackson and Kenneth Christmas is a Holy celebration and is just as important to Christians as Easter.
On Christmas night we head off to church to celebrate the birth of Christ and then it is usually visiting family and eating a nice lunch and then it is home to sit down and wait for next year. As it is summer here in Australia the temperature could be anything but this year the forecast is for mid to high twenties celcius so this year it will be a mild day.

I am a Muslim but have great respect for Christianity and Catholicity. I also feel the joy of friends and family at Christmas celebrations. Even in times of pandemic, be happy to celebrate Christmas and New Year. May next year be a winning year and a better year for all of us. Merry Christmas, Steinar and everyone ^^

I am a muslim. In Indonesia, Christianity is the second largest religion. Thus, Christmast is one of a big day here. Here, religion can go well with each other. There many cases where the christmast celebrations are guarded by Muslim. It is a good example of religious solidarity.

Yes Mr Ahmad, same thing in Guinea, when it comes to religion, people are together and understand each other, we have never had religious issues as it happens in many countries where different religions persecute and Fight each other.

To me, Christmas is the time when I as a Christian celebrate the birthday of my saviour Jesus Christ. And also the time to travel to see many loved ones whom I have missed.

Christmas is a time to celebrate love and the gift of life as seen in each and everyone of us. We usually attend church services and gather at home with loved ones enjoying food, drinks and gifts.

It seems that many members of the Luckscout Club are celebrating Christmas. It must be a good moment for you and your family. Unfortunately, the pandemic has constrained us on how to celebrate this happy moment. It also happened during this year Idul Fitri, where most Moslem cannot freely celebrate the moment due to the pandemic.
