⛔ What Can We Do to Stop the Racism?
Racism is also known as the worldwide pandemic. It regularly comes up in the news and populate our social media feeds.
It is from a delusional view of a group of people thinking that they are better than others people who look different from them. Many people are marginalized, oppressed and discriminated based on their skin color, hair type, facial form, and eye shape. Each day, it seems that there is a new story of these injustices being faced by people ; Christian Cooper and George Floyd are good example of this practice.
As a human being thinking that we are all equal what can we do to stop this Racism ?
Scientific researches have proven that racists have smaller brains and lower IQ levels compared to other people. In other words, they are stupid.
Racism is fueled by the hate and or discrimination of others based on their skin color or ethnic group and I do not think it is right I also feel that racism comes from the continuous references of past events and to truly stop this issue is to stop rehearsing these events therefor making it easier to stop blaming each other for past mistakes that happened a very long time ago. We have an absolute need to move on from the past and we need to encourage people to accept one another we are definitely not all meant to look or be the same and regardless of skin color we all bleed the same and we all are human. I don’t think there will be a solution until we all learn to live with one another and definitely no progress will be made if we keep blaming one another on matters of the past.
Racism is global challenge which needs concerted effort to tackle it. It happens everywhere but most especially in sports. We need to develop an all inclusive strategy to fight it because we even see very responsible people holding responsible positions in society turning into racists.
I agree with Vahid. The racists are intellectually weaker those those who don’t. Thus, the best way to stop racism is by increasing our IQ, be smarter everyday. Read more book, talk with more people, and appreciate differences. When the number of smart people increase, the racism will automatically decrease.
Racial Inter marriage is what that will eliminate every form of Racism in the world. If marriage begins to happen between African, European and Asian, I think it will stop or reduce racism.
We are not born racists. Racism is taught to growing children by their parents and the community in which they are raised.
It thus follows that the way to deal with it is by education. Our present education system does not address this problem at all. So, until such time that we devise a new system of education that addresses racism head on, we won’t make any progress towards a lasting solution.
Yes I agree with David hear in that racism is taught. A bit like a pit-bull dog, if they are nurtured and cared for lovingly they are recognised as one of the most loyal and loving dog breeds. Its only when they are taught to be aggressive and attack other dogs or people that the problem arise. Racism will unfortunately never be eradicated because there will always be a group of people who keep it alive. Hopefully over time that group will get smaller and smaller
We have to acknowledge that we are all equal and the same, no one is better than others. Then it’s also important to teach it at school so that children develop a mentally that racism is a good behavior.
As long as people feel arrogant, think their race is superior to others, then the racist problem will remain. Our most pressing efforts are not to let racism spread outside by giving a sufficiently severe punishment.
Racism and discrimination happen around us all the time.often it’s in the form of jokes, stereotypes and insensitive comments and questions from our family’s members, friends or colleagues, if you witness a family member or friend sayind racist or discrinatory things, you should talk to them if you feel safe to do so.
Approach them privately first in person or via direct message. Point out to them that what they are saying is racist or discriminatory and remind them that everyone has the right to dignity, and that in many countries is against the law to discriminate a person because of the color of their skin, Ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
This is cancer that is eating into our communities. It has reached alarming levels, however I don’t think it serves any purpose on the side of a racist. They to be educated on the basics of living in a free world where everyone is treated equally.
Yes quite true Edward, education is the way forward – hopefully if the right teachings are put in place slowly but surely the amount of racism will lessen.
Every body have to know that we are all equal and the same, the different skin colors was just to make the world beautiful. What will the world be if we all were black Or white.through education most most people will understand it and behave wisely.
Racism can only be reduced but cannot be stopped because we are born from different cultural settings and you can only identify yourself by race eg am Ugandan,African of Omukiiga tribe. As long as we still have the following names like American,British,Canadian,Chinese,Africans,Asians,Europeans,Black Americans racism will continue.
