👩🦰What Do You Think About a Woman Being the President of the Country?
We have seen many women in politics, in the government, Big companies, Banks etc. Hillary Clinton made history in the election in United States of America by becoming the first woman to win the major political party nomination, this shows a huge progress that Women have made in politics. But in presidential election women face a number of challenges that affect their abilities to participle and win the election. What do you think about a woman being the president of the Country?
Gender equality is currently the focus of discussion in many ways. I agree that the role of women can be equal to that of men in anything including being the head of state. Today there are many women who have good abilities and intelligence and I believe they are capable of becoming leaders of the country. As in Indonesia, the president was once led by the first woman named Megawati.
I have had not a too good experience with a woman at the top of government administration. First, the fifth President of Indonesia is a woman. During her presidency, many state assets were sold to cover the budget deficit. Also, the social and political situation at the time was unstable. Second, the major in my city was a woman recently. Her policy was so unbalanced, and a lot of her policies were too one-sided. However, I am glad than she lost her reelection a few days ago. And my city will have a new major for the next four years.
I think it’s ok. We have had many women heads of state. Their performance has been fair compared to their men counterparts. Maybe we can have different opinions on this, but to me it’s ok.
Hi Ahmad, I deeply regret your experience with female leaders.
Hi Jackson, I agree with you. I think women deserve the trust to become president or leaders.
Equality has becomes at it top level, if they deserve the place, i think we should give them a chance to show their ability. They can do more than some bad leaders, I’m referring to dictators and humans blood sacrificators.
Yes, I agree with you that if great female leaders exist, we should give them the opportunity. I think the political system in many countries has guaranteed that right. We have also seen many great female leaders, such as Margareth Thacher. But, based on my experience, I don’t prefer a woman to lead the government body.
If women were also presidents like men ,they would be very dictators than men.Make research on big organizations were women are leading and compare administration and people who are working their ,they are tortured.
Women can be presidents but there main challenge is to convince there fellow women to vote for them.Normally research says most women prefer to vote for men because they do not trust their fellow ladies to be leaders. I personally i cannot vote for a woman for the highest office in the country.
I think leadership has nothing to do with female or male. There are great female who can make a great leader if they are given opportunity. Though, the president of Liberia is a female, the former president of Britain (Theresa May) is also a female. I am on the point that women should be given to leader and make laws that will guide the populace.
I don’t have a problem with the notion at all so long as she is the right person for the job and not just because she is a woman. We had a Prime Minister (who is the head of the government here) who many people thought was hopeless and she did not last very long. We also have individual states where each state has their own government. In NSW the leader is a woman and she has very high integrity and is really tough and good value.
Hi, Leno. I totally agree with you. We should provide opportunities for women to become leaders. I think they are capable of being a good leader and have quality.
I agree with you, Kenneth. We can provide equal opportunities for women to show their qualities to be leaders.
Hi Ahmad. Can you explain to me why you don’t like women being leaders in government?
Eli, what is your reason to suspect that women will be dictators when they become leaders of government?
There’s nothing wrong with a woman being the President of Nigerian. She will leads us well.
There is nothing wrong to a woman to be a leader to the country. As long as she deserves, we should give it a try; Women are smart, sensitive and cooperative.
I believe that woman as a president of a country will not hurt its citizens like man does. Women are very sensitive and emotional, they will certainly not see people crying if they have a solution. We should accept to give it a try.
To me, there’s nothing wrong with that. Provided she leads us well
Nowadays we have many clever woman leaders in politics and in companies and organizations. The main thing is that she is a good leader and not if the person is a man or a woman. Maybe we will see that the next president in the United States after Biden will be a woman.
I always believe that a woman president is good for my because she will respect the constitution of the the country. The constitution of my country has been changed I don’t know for how many times since it’s formulation in 1995. But I believe women are trustworthy people who can uphold the constitution.
