👨‍👩‍👧‍👧What Family Tradition Would You Love to Continue and Pass On?

The culture of going home and family gathering during holidays has become a family tradition in Indonesia.
Homecoming is a moment of returning to your hometown when away from your family. This moment of togetherness has many meanings. One of them, through this moment all family members can share stories with each other. Including to find out the family tree. You can do different and more valuable things by taking advantage of family gathering moments on vacation. What unique family tradition would you love to continue and pass on?

This very one, family reunion during Christmas and end of year brings back many memories. We grew up in this situation and it’s very interesting, it’s a tradition that I wish to keep alive because we have since moved to bigger towns and kind forgotten about villages.

We have a family tradition that is gathering the family in Christmas and New year eve.  I would like to pass it on, but it is not so easy when very few of your family are left.

Hi Jackson, it seems that we also do your story in Indonesia. During religious holidays such as Eid al-Fitr for Muslims and Christmas for Christians, we often make trips back home. For a moment we forgot about work in the city to be with family.

I love Muslim the way Muslim love praying. As a Christian it gives me strength to praye everyday. Muslims respect their praying time, they are very committed when it comes to pray God.

Kenneth, can you tell us how you dressed? And which country are you from? Your story can be knowledgeable to me.

Hi Leno, as a Muslim I am very happy to hear from you. Indeed, we often pray and approach God wherever and whenever. What I know, my Christian friends do it too. By the way, Christmas will come in 4 days. Hopefully you can feel the joy of Christmas this year.

Hi, Ad.

The tradition that I intend to pass to my children is to trust each of our family members. That is a worthwhile tradition to have as a family. As you grow, you will need family more than any other people in this world.

I would like the culture of hardworking to remain in our family ,such that our grand sons and daughters do not become beggars when we die.

That’s really great, Eli. But you can instill hard work in them by setting an example in them. That way they can see how hard you work at work and they can give an example

Hi, Leno.
Is it true that your family doesn’t have a specific tradition for you to preserve and pass on?

Kenneth.
Looks like I’m asking you about your family traditions not those of your local community, Kenneth. 🙂

Mr. Leno.
I can understand what you are saying.
I think it is our tradition to teach our children.
And your thoughts of taking the good things into other traditions, I think that’s a really great thing

You’re welcome Mr Adharad ,all traditions have good side and bad side, all we have to do is to find  good sides from different traditions, combine them together and make a world a good place to live comfortably without any problems.

We should preserved and pass on our family tradition to our children, unfortunately it won’t be easy this days, the modernism is taking the Top.

adharad answered 3 weeks ago

That’s right, Leno.
The current of modernization makes it difficult for us to pass on the culture of our ancestors.
It’s sad
