The culture of going home and family gathering during holidays has become a family tradition in Indonesia.
Homecoming is a moment of returning to your hometown when away from your family. This moment of togetherness has many meanings. One of them, through this moment all family members can share stories with each other. Including to find out the family tree. You can do different and more valuable things by taking advantage of family gathering moments on vacation. What unique family tradition would you love to continue and pass on?
This very one, family reunion during Christmas and end of year brings back many memories. We grew up in this situation and it’s very interesting, it’s a tradition that I wish to keep alive because we have since moved to bigger towns and kind forgotten about villages.
We have a family tradition that is gathering the family in Christmas and New year eve. I would like to pass it on, but it is not so easy when very few of your family are left.
Hi Jackson, it seems that we also do your story in Indonesia. During religious holidays such as Eid al-Fitr for Muslims and Christmas for Christians, we often make trips back home. For a moment we forgot about work in the city to be with family.

I love the tradition of the way we dress and our religion. And I want the both to continue.
I love Muslim the way Muslim love praying. As a Christian it gives me strength to praye everyday. Muslims respect their praying time, they are very committed when it comes to pray God.

I have no problem with tradition, i can familiarise with any kind of family tradition and will be happy to learn it.

Am not a traditionist and I don’t want my children to be traditionist.
I never said it Mr Adharad,Our family tradition is great and i love it, i will for pass it in to my children too. I can also learn others traditions that can benefit me and my family, the world is mixed up with lots of good traditions that one can learn from other.
