👮♂️ What Government Institution Do You Believe Most?
The primary purpose of state government is to deliver welfare to all of its people. In doing so, the government established various institutions dealing with almost every aspect of the community.
To perform their duties, these institutions are operated using taxpayer money. And, we have almost heard daily that the people in this institution mismanaged their authority for their advantage. Thus, people started to lost faith in these corrupt institutions.
However, some institutions have a good reputation, and people keep having faith in them. For me, I have faith in the Indonesian Military Institution because there are many patriots in these institutions.
What about you? What institution in your country that you have the most faith?
There are not too many government bodies in this country that I trust a lot.
Why is that so, Edward?
They are many departments but I admire judiciary the most because it has been somehow impertial amidst all the challenges.
For most of us in Indonesia, the judiciary department is one of the institutions with low reputation. Can you tell us why you admire the judiciary department in your country?
They all are corrupted institutions, they pretend to be innocent but they work with the government. Poverty has turned many people speechless when they see money.
I too believe all the governmental are corrupt in one way or another. Some are worse than others and obviously also dependant on the countries as well. Here in the UK I believe the systems do work and we would be worse off without them.
I can give a little credibility to the Civil Society Irganization (CSOs).but not that too much, when the big amount of money appear, the leaders can change their minds at anytime and forgot their goals.
Leno —Â Does CSOs a government institution? I think it is an organization that is formed by society and is categorized as Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Correct Me if I am wrong.
Ahmad –Â In my country Uganda, you know we live under the worst form of dictatorship. All the Institutions are very corrupt and poorly performing. I have talked about judiciary not because it’s performance is good but it’s like one eyed man among the blind. 🙂
In my country,I would also give at least 50 % to judiciary.sometimes they make judgements which are against their president and parliament. There are also some few case judgements were judges follow properly evidence and rule accordingly.
I have most faith to the Norwegian Storting. It is the norwegian parlament. A parlament consisting of politizians and parties chosen of the inhabitants in an election is the best way to govern a country.  The democracy will work when the inhabitants have faith in the politizians and the parlament.
Hi Steinar, I have heard a lot of positive things about the unicameral Parliament in Norway and it has a good reputation when compare to other European countries.
The government institute that I believe so much is that of the “fundamental human right”. Where citizens have access to their lives. But in this aspect, people’s voice is not heard.
There aren’t enough in my country, all institutions are linked to the corrupted system organized by the government.
I don’t trust government institution, because they can’t keep their own words.
