🧨What Is Your View on Current Military Intervention in Other Countries?

Foreign military intervention is the movement of military or troops by one independent country to another across the borders of a country. Most countries have participated in foreign military intervention including USA, UK, France, China, Russia and many others. In Africa, Uganda, my country has helped some regimes to remain in power like South Sudan and Burundi. It has also led to fall of various governments by helping rebels to takeover legitimate governments namely; Rwanda 1994,Democratic Republic of Congo 1998.It  is currently undertaking UN mission in Somalia for peace stability and fighting terrorism. In your opinion is it okay for countries to intervene in foreign independent states? Has your country ever participated in foreign military intervention?

My country has been helping other countries  ie rebel groups to ovetake other nations ,it has helped in Rwanda in 1994  and the legitimate government was overthrown,in former Zaire it also helped one ethnicity group and also was successful.but they grabbed it’s resources like timber and other mineral resources.it has done intervention for individual benefits  and soldiers who die are not compesated.

Definitely is good to assist an independent country, especially when the peace of the country is threatened and innocent lives lost, it is still on the ambit of the United nations constitution to assist such country to regain peace.

To me, I think it’s ok if it’s for the good of the two countries. For instance in Somalia, it was necessary to restore order and rule of law. This will stop insurgents from establishing strongholds from where they base to distablize other countries.

Yes, it’s okay to help your neighbors to get out of trouble, fight its enemies. Not a bad ideas, but what if we promote peace and stability instead of Wars,if all countries are gathered together, i think we won’t need such help.

The military intervention have both good and bad side, it helps the country to fight their enemies but also they take the country’s ressources and goods .

It is not all right with military interventions in independent countries. Norway partisipated in the bombing of Jugoslavia and Libya through the membership in Nato.

Yes it to maintain peace and other if the country is in crisis, good To do that, but what if countries promote peace before having crisis. Security crisis came by lack of peace and stability. I think the best way is that people should forgive each other and develop good relationship.
