💤When You Cannot Sleep, What Do You Think About and How You Get Back to Sleep?
Most of us have experienced insomnia, or inability sleep, although with a varying degree.
Prolonged insomnia is harmful to our physical and mental health. Usually, some tragic events or challenging problems make us difficult to sleep.
There are many methods to defeat insomnia. The most popular one is counting sheep.
What about you? Are you also a sheep counter or you have a more effective method to defeat insomnia?
Currently I have not issue with sleeping, it used to happen to me sometime back when I was staying in foreign country and staying alone but nowadays no.
It happens more often to people who have problems in the life, i for example if i have difficult problem or situation that i haven’t found the way to solve it, i become sleepless in the night, spending many hours thinking how to find a solution.
If I can’t get sleep, I usually think in many things ranging from monitary, family and even friends.
Most times I fail to sleep immediately when I reach on my bed ,but at day time starting from morning hours,I sleep on and off.when I fail to sleep I think on a lot of things from finance or family and some times start singing some Christian music.
If i can not sleep, most of the time i take one book nearby me to start reading until i fall asleep. Some times i think about my daily life problems, how to find a way to solve them, how to improve my life etc… As I’m far from my family i usually think about them too.
Almost every time I experience it. Even worse, trouble sleeping. I usually play on my phone until I fall asleep. I thought it was the wrong thing. But, I don’t know any other way. Is there any solution?
Doing meditation and prayer before sleep is the best method I have ever found. Of course, read a book will fasten your time to sleep.
In your are in safe place, you can go outside and take Fresh air for a while until you fall asleep, i usually do it, it can help you to relax, think about something important in a quiet place.
I also think of how I can be financially balance, how I can set out my goals in other not to affect my upcoming kids
Most of time if people can not sleep, the spend the time thinking about their problems, and plans. Some can go out and take Fresh air outside, some look for people around to whom they can talk to. I personally stay lying in bed thinking about my problems, plans, and so on.
If I can’t sleep, I will play cool music on my bed side in other to sleep.
If I can’t sleep, I often pray, watch television and play on my cellphone.
But a lot of time I spend pondering my mistakes and planning for the future
If I’m alone and can no sleep, i most of the time think about my wife and child. I think about how they are feeling and their security, unfortunately i can’t do anything for them.i just pray God to keep them safe and sound.
Sometimes, i can turn on the TV, slow the volume and watch movies until i fall asleep. I can even pass the entire night sleeping in the desk.
Often I contemplate and count the stars.
But I also play on my phone and watch YouTube to fall asleep
Yes, me too i watch lot of movies on YouTube. Generally Nigerian or Ghanaen movies, they help me to improve my English listening and understanding skills. I also practice playing pac man some times.
I think about the love of my life, the good time we spent together
There are several things to do when you can’t sleep, i generally can spend all the time reading interesting article to feed my mind with new knowledge .reading is very important for a man who want to succeed in life. It brings you at the highest level of understanding things and improve your mentality.
If I could not sleep, I think of my lovely wife how we met, and the lovely time we spent together.
Apart from that, I also think of who created me, how I can into this world, how Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross of Calvary because of my sins.
