Covid-19 is a virus that attacks an infected persons respiratory system that means the virus mainly attacks the lungs making it hard for a person to breathe. Covid-19 cases has proven to cause severe Pneumonia ( a medical condition affecting the lungs and breathing ability) that lead to respiratory failure and can result in death and is know to be highly contagious.

The Lungs. Even for those who survived COVID19, the damages caused by the virus to the lungs are severe and may takes a long time to recover. Even, in some cases, the damages are permanent.

The lungs,throat,and nose are the most infected organs when we caught covid19. All these organs belong to the respiratory system and allow us to breathe normally. If these organs are infected your respiratory system because less functional .

Initially, the experts though covid19 was primarily a respiratory illness, infecting the nose, throat and lungs like flu viruses.Now it is clear that, this new germ can harm the brain, heart, circulatory system, liver, pancreas, and kidneys as well as lungs.

Yes Mr Kenneth if we say respiratory system it refer to a system in our boby that help us to breathe the oxygen and remove the carbon dioxide. This system is combination of many organs but the mains parts are mounth, nose,larynx,trachea,lungs,branchial tubes, diaphragm, etc… But a part from these organs,it appears that the new germ can also attack blood system, heart,pancreas,kidneys and liver.

The covid19 virus affect both lungs, your lungs fill with fluid and debris ; you might also have more serious pneumonia. The air sacs fill with mucus, fluid and others cells that are trying to fight the infection. This can make it harder for your body to take in oxygen. You can also have trouble breathing or feel short of breath.

It has be proven that after lungs, respiratory system it can also affect circulatory system which includes heart and blood.kidneys and Pancreas can also be affected.
