✈️Why an Increase Air Accidents?
Before the Covid19 outbreak and the subsequent lockdown of world economy, we saw many air accidents or plane crushes. Noted among those were, Kenya airways flight from Addis Ababa to Nairobi which crashed just a few minutes after takeoff from Ethiopia, the Lion Air passenger plane that crashed in the Java sea after takeoff, Malaysian passenger plane MH370, the vanished en route to China after taking off from Kuala Lumpur international airport, and many more. These and many other air traffic accidents caused a lot of alarm, and left many questions unanswered because they claimed so many lives. More so, these plane crashes happened within a short period of one another! It later came to light that Kenya airways and Lion Air Accidents were caused by technical failures in the software of those brand new airplanes. Why is this happening in this age of technological advancement when we thought that things have been simplified? What do you think was the major cause of these increased accidents at the time?

Many air plane accidents are a result of a human errors, from the pilots ,mechanic, and others person that use to look after the plane before and after the trip. The weather has also caused many air plane accidents as well as terrorists.
I think the comments above are correct and it probably is a combination of airplanes coming to the end of their life’s and also that humans are capable of error.
Yes there is the human factor but some of it is that as humans we are starting to rely too much on computers. At the end of the day a computer is only as good as its programmer. There can be a number of reasons for computer failure but we are placing too much faith in computers.
Terrorist can also attack air planes and causes if to Crash.

I think the unserviced plane are not among the primary cause, in case of Lion Air JT610 crash in Indonesia. FYI, it was a new Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft. Also, according to the Indonesian National Committee for Transportation Safety, the crash happened during the period of improvement in air transportation safety in Indonesia. The previous plane crash before Lion Air JT610 happened two years before, in 2017.
After investigation, the cause of the Lion Air JT610 crash is that the pilot is yet to master the new flight-control system of the new plane adequately. The Boeing was also to blame for not giving the training required to the pilots regarding this new improvement.
Air transport is the most dangerous form of transport.It has no room for gambling like road or railway transport.Any mistake life is gone.I normally ask my self why most air transport accidents always happen in Asian and African continents.There is need for more investigations on the causes,mechanical errors should be well elaborated by the manufacturer.
