It seems that nowadays, many people have made drastic decision in their life ; they are not involved in any kind of relationship with someone as a love partner. Most of them spend their free time with closer friends or in their families, in some cases they live their lives alone in a house, run their businesses, go to work an so on. This kind of decision is very difficult to understand as a human being to live in life without founding your own family like your parents did or many others people. According to you what is or are the reason(s) behind such decision?
Most people choose to live single because of religion.The Catholic church for example does not allow their heads of their church to marry, like fathers and sisters.So if one what’s to serve as the head of Catholic Church,no marrying.
Marriage has become a very complicated issue these days. Some marriages have broken down and people decided not to marry again.
They don’t want to bear the burden of family things because they value their independence so much. Or, in extreme cases, they can’t find a good partner to marry.

There would be a number of reasons why people remain single. They have never found the right person, they may have confidence issues or they may be really happy with the single life.

Off course the causes of living a single life are many and every individual has his or specific reason of not marrying.
To some people, it’s not a choice, it God’s creation. They’re born like this and so they stay like this because they can’t do anything about it.
People that choose to single, these set of people are afraid to handle children and troubles of women. I think is not a good decision to be taken. A woman and a man come together before such people is born, they also need to replace another person’s before they leave the earth.

Yes Mr Kenneth what you mentioned are among some reason of such horrible decision, i have seen a man somewhere who don’t care about getting married just because he has not good job. This is a kind of laziness and foolishness. Not refuse totally not because of bad experience.

My uncles (the older and younger brother of my brother) choose not to get married, and they are over fifty years old right now. I am grateful that I was not among them. Life will get tougher for a single person as they get older.
Because they don’t need the stress of life. They want everything to come at else for them.
I think people prefer to be single now a days due to independence and also more largely to protect their harts from further heartbreak. I do not know what is going on with relationships lately but I just feel that people stopped having faith in one another and depend on themselves for emotional and physical support. The value of marriage has also certainly changed judging by the high number of divorcees now a days which further proves something is wrong but in my opinion it is peoples need for independence and also the emotional hurt that one has suffered that is the result in people choosing to stay single lately.
Single people do enjoy more freedom than those with kids, espouses or in long term relationship. Not always, but often they have more time and head space to focus on what they want. However, freedom actually makes them more insular and more community-minded .on average they are the ones showing up when other people need help.
In several cases I have encountered, they choose to be single because they feel comfortable living alone and feel burdened by other people. They are able to make ends meet without other people. I think the choice is legitimate

I think it is a personal decision why many people are choosing not to marry these days.Religion definitely has a lot to with it.I hate t state this but over these past few years the Church has been responsible for these marriages that should have never happened in the first place and for the skyrocketing divorce rate all over this world.Really do you GB believe some religious fanatic telling you that God has someone for you even if the partner is a bad and unstable person? And also look at the increase in single parenting.Also too people do have the right to decide whether they tie the knot or not.Many people are beginning to see that marriage is a serious relationship not made for everyone. This definitely is not a fairy tale.It is sad that women from the time they are children are still given dolls to play with for preparing for marriage. Also to especially in certain cultures girls are still taught that their main purpose in life is that one day they will be married no matter what.It seems that the pressure to marry has become too much for people to deal with so this is why people!e are deciding to remain single and not tie the knot.In the end the decision to not be married is best left to the individual.

I don’t get the point of your answer. Based on your reasoning, should religion be the only institution to blame for those single persons?
I state it that way because years ago I had a former hairdresser who claimed that God had a spouse lined up for me.She claimed it was a vision that God told her that I would meet this person through the church she attended. I do not think anyone in their right mind would appreciate or like hearing something like that.I do know that that is some way to b try to use religion to control another human being.To clarify people who call themselves religious will do things like this.This former hairdresser showed me that she is a person who has no respect for a person’s life choice.Many people these days do feel that religion has no positive effect in their lives especially in this subject.Yes there are more single people than ever before and the trend will continue for a while.But people do need to factor in what was stated.It is a huge part of it.
